Headline: Aerulean® Announces the Addition of Advisors to Team

MENLO PARK, Calif., February 3, 2009 —

Aerulean Plant Identification Systems, Inc. announced today that they have recently added two key advisors to their team: Dr. Manuela Kogon, and Linda Popky of L2M Associates, Inc.

Manuela Kogon, M.D, started her business career as an active participant in the formulation and operation of several small businesses. She translated that early experience into assisting small to medium size companies with business development, strategic planning, marketing and day-to-day operations. She holds a medical degree from Basel University School of Medicine.

Linda J. Popky, is Founder and President of L2M Associates, Inc., a strategic marketing company. She is a senior marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in technology and B2B marketing, including experience with Sun Microsystems and Cisco Systems. She earned an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Boston University. Among other things, she is the Director of Alliances & Partnerships for Women in Consulting, a member of the Society for the Advancement of Consulting, a Fountainblue certified consultant, associated with Marketing Operations Partners, and is an Astia business incubater mentor and a member of their Technology Planning Committee.

Aerulean is in the business of providing integrated software resources to serve the needs of the horticulture industry and supply the industry with modern identification, selection, and informational tools. Aerulean’s has created software that will revolutionize the way consumers gather information about plants, leveraging their two pending patents.

“We have strategies in place to build on the current information flow between suppliers and consumers and have created new tools to address obstacles in the current systems. Our tools are infused with Aerulean’s proprietary identification and selection systems. We have created and tested our software—assisted most recently by the guidance of both Dr. Kogon and Linda Popky,” said CEO Susan Dunlap.

“We have forged relationships with key members of the Green Industry. Our software is designed to meet the immediate needs of the industry and the customers they serve, and we have marketing and execution strategies that, when executed, will positively affect their bottom line.” Aerulean, aided with a USDA grant, recently concluded both a major survey of the Green Industry and a test of their prototype. A launch of their first product is imminent. Aerulean adds these two endorsements to the list of suppliers and botantist who are currently part of their advisory team.
