Lantana is a major nectar plant for butterflies (one of the few that is not a Composite). 194 US butterflies will nectar on them. Most will grow in Zones 8,9,10, or 11; Lantana camara grows in Zones 6,7,8,or 9.

Add this genus with a mixture of Composites and you will have a good start on a butterfly nectar garden.
